The next couple of years were very hard for him and for all of us. He had multiple trips to the ER and to so many different doctors that he could barely keep up. He came thru so many obstacles and plenty of surguries. He was determined to hang in there for his family. There was no way to prepare for anything that happened to him but we stuck in there and made sure he had everything that he needed. Mama would take her last to make sure that he had all his medicines(which was a lot by the way) and other things that he needed to stay healthy. There were times that i prayed that i could just take away some of his pain but i knew that was impossible. I prayed that he could just overcome his illness and go back to the way things used to be. But we all knew that he was not gonna be with us much longer
